Recently, however, a bout of back spasms and stiff neck sent to me to the doctor where I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in my neck. Thinking that I could not surf ever again, I immediately thought of Dave's Paddle Air product and am glad I did. I've used the new Ergo several times now and am thoroughly satisfied with it. Ergo has helped me extend my surf session time dramatically with no adverse impact on my neck and back.

The shirt is very comfortable and once inflated; you hardly know it’s there. The bladder is easy to inflate/deflate and the air capacity allows the user to adjust the volume for maximize comfort and paddling efficiency. Ergo is a great product and I would recommend it to any surfer and particularly those with a history of back and neck problems.
